Research Vision My overarching research interest is to advance management of lake and stream systems under local, regional, and global changes through development and application of hydrodynamic and biogeochemical models. Traditional engineering approaches often focus on one system component to achieve a desired result, but this approach neglects interconnections between components within the climate-lake-water-biotic-human system. I aim to use linked models to understand local and regional interactions that are crucial to management decisions in the context of broad-scale climate and environmental changes.
